I have always been a keen baker from childhood…..many a happy day spent making simple butterfly cakes from a young age and watching my Mother bake and continue to bake cakes for family, friends and sometimes it seems the whole village…..

to helping my Grandmother make her infamous Cherry Pie….

Baking has been the one constant throughout my life.

Having been diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 5 and the suffering with Hay fever and Eczema and later developing Asthma, my wellbeing has been important to my life and work and so I have studied and adapted my diet accordingly to be able to live better and enjoy all…… so I have been following a gluten free lifestyle for decades now and being nut free as well due to allergies.

I have adapted my baking accordingly and having baked cakes for family and friends for years… I have finally made my first love of baking in to my business and now work is simply bliss and joy.

Cakes and flowers……. what else makes the heart sing and soar so brightly…..

I cherish each and every moment that comes my way along this crazy journey we call life and I enjoy each day doing what I love….creating cakes for all to enjoy……

Life is meant to be enjoyed…… and life is so much sweeter with a little gluten free cake…. they bring a smile to the face and still give me that childlike joy that can only come from that first bite of a beautiful buttercream cupcake…….

Cakes are a celebration…..a memory……the sweetest form of art…cakes make everything seem rosy & bright……cakes give us a moment to pause and just enjoy…..cakes give us a chance to blossom & bloom in their sweet delight……..xxx
